Google Picasa2

A few weeks ago I got a copy of Google Picasa 2. Before that I have heard about it, even had refferals to Picasa on my sites, but I didn't used it and I didn't know realy what is it. When I installed Pacasa 2 and run it for the first time I was like WOW and WOW and WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW.

And then came some more WOWs when I started using Picasa, actualy when Picasa started working on it's own, I mean at indexing all pictures on my hard drive. When indexing was finished, I was very suprised, 'cos I didn't even know how much images and picture were there in my hard drive, some of the pictures I have never seen in my life, and I have now idea how they came to my hard drive, but that is different story, surely it's not Picasa fault, probably mine or maybe not, doesn't metter, they can't harm me, I hope :)

As I mentioned, after indexing of pictures and images, you can start viewing them. Pacasa 2 has a little slider on the right side near the bottom which is very useful, it changes size of displayed pictures, and that can help you to quickly locate picture you are looking for.
If you double click on picture you will go to picture editing page. There you can edit picture with 12 filters and 12 effects, which are all breath taking. When finished with editing you can export picuture in jpeg format. If you wont to go back to picture viewing page just bouble click on gray area around the picture or click "Back to Library" button. At this time you will say WOW because moving from one page to another is done with some awsome blending effect.

On left side of main Library page is list with all folders containing pictures. Clicking to folder will bring pictures from that folder on the right, if you click on next or previous folder content will slide, pretty cool, wright?
You can do many things with whole folders, you can start slideshow, make webpage (6 templates, automatic picture resizing and making thumbnails), hide and unhide folders, burn folders as gift CD, create screensavers and movies from pictures.

Alternative for Library view is Timeline view, and when you press the "Timeline" button it is time for another WOW, wright?
